Our innovative solutions and support, create synergies and efficiency for our customers. MedVantage is seeking a full-time Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our location-based business development team, you will be responsible for selling our innovative solutions to Healthcare and Higher Education facilities, including hospitals, outpatient facilities, colleges, and universities.

This position is office based with some travel required.
Responsibilities:
Account Protection and Lead Generation:
- Identify up-sell opportunities with existing clients through research, market analysis, and targeted outreach.
- Use various channels such as email, phone calls, social media, and networking events to generate leads.
- Research and understand the needs, challenges, and goals of our clients.
Lead Qualification:
- Engage with existing clients to assess their fit for the company’s new products or services.
- Conduct initial discussions to understand the pain points and determine if the existing client is qualified for an up-sell opportunity.
- Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and gather relevant information for the sales team.
Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, focusing on understanding their needs and providing relevant information.
- Provide timely responses to inquiries and address any concerns there may be.
Collaboration with Sales Team:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to hand off qualified leads and ensure a smooth transition in the sales process.
- Communicate lead information, insights, and context to the sales team to enable effective follow-up.
Data Management:
- Document all interactions and lead-related information accurately in the company’s CRM system.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of leads and prospects.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities for business growth..
Performance Tracking:
- Measure and report on key performance metrics such as the number of leads generated, lead qualification rate, and conversion rates.
- Continuously analyze and refine lead generation strategies to optimize results.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outbound calling or business development role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and persuasive abilities
- Ability to research and identify potential clients in target markets
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Healthcare & Foodservice Inside Sales Account Executive (Office-based)

Our innovative solutions and support, create synergies and efficiency for our customers. MedVantage is seeking a full-time Technical Sales Manager to join our team. As the Technical Sales Manager, you will work exclusively with MedVantage’s highly specialized technical products with a focus on our innovative RFID inventory solution. This position performs as a sales professional and exhibits excellent interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships and onboard new clients. The Technical Sales Manager will manage the sales cycle of products from prospecting through installation and account protection. As a key member of our location-based team, you will be responsible for selling our innovative solutions to Healthcare and Higher Education facilities, including hospitals, business and industry, colleges, and universities.

This position is office based with some travel required.
Responsibilities:
- Some interstate travel for trade shows is necessary (all expenses are paid by MedVantage)
- Successfully sell MedVantage products and services to new and existing customers using the ability to present compelling offers and influence customer decision-making
- Effectively manage time, open to learning new methods, and contributing feedback for process improvement
- Demonstrate the ability and resilience to bounce back from challenges and maintain focus on larger goals
- Assess each customer and their needs to offer the best product and value
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Provide excellent customer service, listen to the customer, and ensure their satisfaction and sales protection
Skills, Experience, and Requirements:
- Previous experience in inside sales. Healthcare/medical/foodservice experience a plus
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Independent, self-motivated, focused
- Familiarity with online presentation tools like WebEx or GoToMeeting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
